Our Journey
We are very excited to bring this Yoga Teacher Training back to the Green Bay area in January 2025!
In 2018, Jenstar Movement Studio hosted a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training led by Jennifer Berres and Shayne Broadwell. The collaboration between these two individuals with their combined 30+ years of training and their own unique approach to teaching yoga was the inspiration for creating the Jenstar Yoga Teacher Training School in 2024. Our program is approved by the Wisconsin Educational Approval Program (WEAP). It is a foundational program rooted in Patanjali’s Ashtanga yoga (the eight limbs). The Jenstar YTT will provide students with the knowledge and experience to become inspiring, creative, and knowledgeable teachers. In addition, you will have two well trained teachers
The Jenstar Yoga Teacher Training curriculum (created by Shayne Broadwell) follows the Yoga Alliance guidelines and is a registered school (“Three Degrees Free”) with Yoga Alliance. Upon completion of the teacher training program students will receive a Certificate of Completion and can apply for registration with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200-hour level (RYT 200).
While the Jenstar Yoga Teacher Training program is designed for aspiring yoga teachers, it is also strongly recommended for individuals wanting to deepen their personal practice.
