My mother would say I was born dancing and ready to put on a show for anyone who would watch. A Green Bay native, I studied ballet, jazz and tap at local studios since the age of 3. I danced, competed and choreographed for my high school and collegiate dance teams, while also dancing on a semi-pro AFL team. I also had the opportunity to dance and perform at Broadway Dance Center in NYC in high school. I continued dancing through college at UW-Green Bay with classical ballet training, a theatre scholarship, and concert dance showcases. While receiving my dietetic internship/master’s degree in Nutrition and Wellness in the Chicago area, I took any dance class I could squeeze into my schedule.
Upon moving back to Green Bay, I dabbled in a variety of fitness formats-endurance running, swimming, strength…until I stumbled on a variety of Jenstar classes and instantly felt “home.” Getting back to my roots in dance was crucial to me, but I didn’t know how to incorporate that into a fitness class where I could inspire others to feel strong and beautiful. I started teaching a variety of other fitness formats (Zumba, cardio dance, cycling, strength) but knew I met my match in Piloxing. Feeling strong while focusing on proper technique to avoid injury-all while feeling like a party!! I am so excited to bring this format to Jenstar and the GB community. Outside of Jenstar and fitness, I work as a Registered Dietitian at a local cancer center. I spend my free time cooking, traveling to visit family, and relaxing with Noodle, my black goldendoodle, and my partner.
